Fashion for the Plus Size Fashionista

I know everyone sees that I have BBW tacked on to my name. It stands for Big Beautiful Woman. For those that didn't know, it is the large size version of those little bitty females so many people aspire to be. Well there are fashion designers out there that cater to the plus size, although not as numerous as the ones that like the size zeros. Here are a few that you can look into if you are into looking great! (Click designer's name to go to website)

Anna Scholz- This designer covers sizes 12-28. Her clothing can be found at certain fashion department stores and boutiques (Neiman Marcus/ Saks Fifth Avenue), and also her website with shipping worldwide.(site has some issues, but is a valid site)

Melissa Masse- This designer fashions clothes up to size 3X and will also custom design an outfit through her website. Many of her clothes are found primarily in Bloomindales and Neiman Marcus. (sidenote: she is rather expensive.)

Niehla Ollie- owner and head designer of "Chocolate Sushi Couture," which exclusively designs clothes that cater to the plus size customer. Besides being a just a designer, she also travels the world working with the famous as a makeup artists. Talking about talented!

Jasmine Elder- Not settling for humdrum fashion or flowers that are unflattering to the body, Jasmine Elder started her Jibrion line and has encased style into sensible fashion for not only the plus size, but the curvy woman that wants to look more than just good, but look great.

Jacqueline Floro- Creator of the INES collection, Floro seems to know the body of the larger woman, and the need to cover it in a sexy and sassy way. Covering women from size 12-26, you will find beautiful patterns, material, and cuts to flatter women looking for femininity.
