WILL.I.AM wants to be plastic.....

BLACK EYED PEAS frontman WILL.I.AM is ensuring their current U.S. tour is as green as possible by urging concertgoers to donate their plastic drinks bottles so they can be recycled into clothing fabric.

The innovative idea is part of the rapper’s new initiative with environmental groups Rethink, Green For All and the League of Conservation Voters to reduce the amount of waste during the band’s shows.
The plastic will then be treated and converted into usable fabric for fashion.
will.i.am says, “By not leaving junk you are contributing style, fashion, enabling new fashion designers utilising this fabric. You see water bottles not as containers that house water, but eventually clothe your body.”
